how we work with you
get in touch
We will schedule a time for a no-obligation consultation. We will discuss your project and how we can help you achieve your dream home. If you have a site already, we can meet you on-site.
We will present a proposal to you outlining our role and responsibilities. We will require a deposit from you to cover all pre-construction consulting work. This deposit will be deducted off the Management Fee should we build your home.
If you have not engaged an architect or designer yet, we can recommend trusted professionals to help you with your design needs. Once plans are created we will prepare a budget for your project. We will review the budget with you in detail to ensure that we are on the same page.
contract and scheduling
After we have agreed to the budget, we will prepare a Project Management Agreement and a payment schedule so you know what to expect and when. You will have access to our Project Management software to view the budget, schedule and progress updates.
Construction will begin once plans are approved and we receive a building permit. Our building philosophy is to be hands-on and onsite every day, this ensures the construction of a quality, well-built home.
We will keep in touch with you through regular meetings, either on-site or virtually, throughout the entire process. We pride ourselves on being organized, open and transparent with homeowners. We appreciate that our clients are busy and strive to make the construction process seamless and stress-free.
Once the project is finished and we receive the occupancy permit we will meet and provide a thorough walkthrough of your new home. We will go through the New Home Maintenance Manual and complete the New Home Warranty so you have peace of mind that your home is protected.
one year anniversary
We will complete a one-year completion anniversary walk-through to ensure your home is performing to the standard it was designed to.
A Corecraft Home is protected by a Travelers Canada 2/5/10 Year New Home Warranty.
