Corey Pfingsten – Owner
Corey began his career in construction over 20 years ago and founded Corecraft Construction Ltd. in 2010. A Certified Red Seal Carpenter, he also holds a Certificate in Construction Operations from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and studied Business Administration at Douglas College. Corey became a Licensed Builder in 2013, the same year he completed his first full home build from start to finish.
Corey plays an active role in every Corecraft project, working closely with clients and supporting the team to ensure consistent quality, transparency, and execution at every stage.
Outside of work, Corey enjoys spending time with friends and family, usually in the outdoors. Whether camping, dirt biking, hiking, running, mountain biking, snowboarding, or snowmobiling, he makes the most of his free time. He is also actively involved in the community, volunteering his time to coach youth sports, build trails and support local clubs.
Robert Morris – Project Manager
Robert started his carpentry career in 2015 and joined the Corecraft team as an apprentice two years later. He completed his Red Seal in Carpentry alongside a certificate in Construction Operations from BCIT in 2020, and he has continued to advance his industry education over the last six years.
His background allows him to play a versatile role in the company, where he works alongside the team through the full life cycle of each project. He handles everything from initial preconstruction planning to active construction oversight and final closeout. Outside of work, Robert often spends his weekends hiking in the local mountains and walking through the local parks with his dog.
Logan Walker – Site Manager
Starting as a labourer at Corecraft in 2015, Logan worked his way through a carpentry apprenticeship before earning his Red Seal certification in 2022. Now serving as Site Manager, he brings hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and a strong understanding of the building process to every project.
Known for his practical approach and attention to detail, Logan enjoys seeing projects come together from the ground up and helping keep sites running smoothly. Outside of work, he spends his time snowboarding in the winter and golfing whenever he can get out on the course.
Joseph Hogge – Site Manager
As Site Supervisor, Joseph brings a lifetime of construction experience to every project. A second-generation builder, he spent much of his childhood on job sites alongside his father, developing a passion for craftsmanship and home building from an early age. After earning his Red Seal Carpenter certification in 2016, he has continued to build on that foundation, overseeing custom home projects with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
When he’s not on site, Joseph enjoys spending time on the golf course, staying active at the gym, and watching sports with his friends.
Leah King – Office Manager
Prior to joining Corecraft in 2022, Leah worked in a number of administrative roles for a non-profit arts organization in Vancouver. As Office Manager, Leah keeps the company organized and projects running smoothly behind the scenes.
In her spare time, you can find Leah running through the local trails, or driving her daughter to and from various activities.
